First thing's first here - today is Andy's birthday and that is why we are releasing on a Sunday.
Andy's mom LeAnn joins us on episode 2 and opens up about the experience of losing a teenage son to suicide and the subsequent discovery of a purpose-driven conviction to spread love, inspiration and encouragement in the midst of her grief.
Andy was a great student, a star pitcher scouted by major league baseball teams, on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout, and was dearly loved by his friends. Andy's suicide sent a piercing thunderbolt through the hearts of many thousands of people-his family, his friends and his community.
This two part series has the capacity to heal many hearts and minds because of the way LeeAnn is able to articulate the events and speak to the healing aspects of them.

Monday Apr 04, 2022
Welcome to series 2, episode 1 of Learn from People who Lived it. Our first interview is with Topher.
Topher worked in a clinical laboratory for three years prior to obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Arizona State University and a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University.
He began his career practicing In-Patient Psychiatry at Quail Run Behavioral health where he quickly became good friends with his mentor and colleague Dr. Michael Vines. Together, along with Thomas, they opened Alevea Mental Health.
After listening to his episode I think you will have a clear understanding of WHY he does what he does for a living. He is the HERO in the hero's journey.
