In this episode, Mathew and Lori discuss the complexity of emotions, tips to help understand it's not selfish to take time for yourself, and how cognitive and semantic awareness help us experience life to the fullest. Lori also gives us her thoughts on ways to achieve that awareness and start self-love.
Lori Janik is a licensed master social worker and clinician who left a permanent mark on Mathews's family after an accident when his son was 6. She gives us insight into how she is helping people arrive at self-compassion and develop an understanding that balance is not a static place through her work at Cactus Flower Healing.
