In this episode, Mathew and Colleen discuss how Google has impacted education, what purposeful daydreaming is, what it is not, and how it reduces creativity anxiety. Colleen tells us how she uses purposeful daydreaming in her own work, including in creating her comic books series that teaches chemistry to kids, and what Cloud Club is doing to create practical tools for educators.
Colleen Kelley is an author, inventor, speaker, and Chemistry Instructor at The University of Arizona with over 30 years of teaching experience. She is a believer in the equity of education and is promoting a free way to unlock the knowledge and creativity we all have in us called purposeful daydreaming.

In this second episode, Mathew, Dr. Frank, and Sam discuss the growing pains of healing and commitments needed for real change including altering environments, swapping out unhealthy coping mechanisms, and overcoming the shame associated with progressing and backsliding. Sam stresses the importance of being a lifelong learner, unpacking the “why” behind your behavior, and evaluating misplaced anger toward people you love.
We end the episode with the story of Sam making the decision to pursue forgiveness, and why forgiveness requires time and distance to allow you to establish your own boundaries.
